  • Day : 2 Shanghai (B)

    Today you will visit the Shanghai Museum with an audio. Later you will take a stroll through Yu Garden, and after get a taste of Shanghai's local life in the Yuyuan Market, and then visit the Jade Buddha Temple, the Bund and Nanjing Road.

    Yu Garden: Located in the Old Town of Shanghai and laid out in 1559 AD by a powerful Ming official, Yu Garden recreates a beautiful landscape of pagodas, pavilions, rockeries, fountains, ancient trees and precious flowers.

    Yuyuan Market: Outside the Yu Garden, a bustling market with different snacks and trinkets.

    The Bund:Where the great trading houses and banks had their headquarters in 1920s and 1930s, about a mile long, it is the city's fulcrum.

    Nanjing Road: Known as "China's No.1 Shopping Street" with a huge of merchandise on sale, it is the main shopping street of Shanghai, running in a west-east direction.

    Shanghai Museum with an audio(Closed on Monday): Often ranked as China's best museum, it is the biggest museum in China with a fine collection of over 120,000 pieces of Chinese artifacts. Shanghai Museum is closed to public on Monday . Note:Since the guide is not allowed to give speeches at Shanghai Museum, an audio will be provided for you instead. You can choose English, French, German, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish and Italian with the audio.

    Jade Buddha Temple:Named after its exquisite milk-white jade Buddha brought from Burma in the 19th century by a Chinese monk, it is a spiritual oasis in the midst of a modern metropolis.
  • Day : 3 Shanghai/ Xi'an (B)

    Transfer via: Flight, Economy Class
    After breakfast, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Xian. Upon arriving in Xian, your local guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Then you will visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

    Big Wild Goose Pagoda:regarded by many as a symbol of the city, the pagoda was built in 652 A.D in Tang Dynasty to house the sutras brought back from India by the famous monk Xuan-zang.
  • Day : 4 Xi'an (B)

    You will visit the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors in the morning. After that, you will visit the Great Mosque and Muslim Street.

    Terracotta Warriors:Discovered in 1974 by local farmers digging a well, one of the most significant archeological finds of the 20th century. These 6,000 life-size painted terracotta warriors and horses --individually sculpted from real-life models and arranged in battle formation have been protecting the mausoleum of the first emperor in Chinese history—Emperor QinShihuang since 2,200 years ago.

    Muslim Street:It is the center of the sizable Chinese-Muslim community in Xian. You will pass through a narrow bazaar street linked with shops selling a large variety of interesting local delicacies, snacks and souvenirs. It is also packed with small restaurants serving typical Muslim food.

    Great Mosque:the largest mosque in Xi'an and one of the four grand Islamic mosques in China with more than 1200 years' history, the mosque possesses not only traditional Chinese architectural style, but also features peculiar to Islamic mosques and now it is a major spot for religious activities of 50,000 Muslims in Xi'an.
  • Day : 5 Xi'an/ Beijing (B)

    Transfer via: High speed G train, Second Class Seat
    After breakfast, you will tour The Ancient City Walls before being escorted to the train station for the high speed train to Beijing. Upon your arrival at Beijing, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

    The Ancient City Walls:It is the largest and best-preserved ancient fortress in the world. It is also the thickest “wall” in the world, which you can drive golf car, take rickshaw and ride bicycle on the top.
  • Day : 6 Beijing (B)

    On this day you will first visit Tiananmen Square followed by the magnificent Forbidden City. In the afternoon you will visit the Summer Palace (including 15-minute boat ride).

    Tiananmen Square:It is the largest city square in the world and the spiritual heart of China, where the national flag is raised exactly at sunrise every day.

    The Forbidden City(Closed on Monday):It is located in the center of Beijing, used to be the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years, it is the grandest integral palace complex still remaining in China.

    Summer Palace (including 15-minute boat ride):Located on the northwestern outskirts of the city, it was an imperial summer resort of the Qing Dynasty. With its perfect layout, magnificent buildings and enchanting landscape, it is the most splendid classical garden in China. Note:Boat ride is not available from Nov. 1st to April.1st because of the lake frozen.
  • Day : 7 Beijing (B)

    Today, you will first visit the Temple of Heaven, then drive to the magnificent Great Wall (Mutianyu section with round trip cable car).

    Great Wall (Mutianyu Section):The most famous symbol of China and one of the world's most remarkable architectural wonders, it was built over 2,000 years ago and stretching about 6,700km.

    Mutianyu Cable Car (round way):Round-way cable car of Mutianyu Great Wall included. Chair-lift and Toboggan are also available. If you want to change to any of them, please inform the local guide before he or she purchases the tickets for round-trip cable car for you. Please pay the extra charge in cash to the local guide.

    Temple of Heaven:It is the place which was visited yearly by the emperors who performed intricate rituals to insure a good harvest for the whole nation at ancient times.
